Kohl’s reports second-quarter results
- Kohl’s posted Q2 GAAP net income of USD 151 million, or USD 1.28 per diluted share, versus USD 153 million a year earlier.
- Net sales fell 0.9% from the year-ago quarter to USD 3.3 billion; comparable sales dropped 0.9%.
- Gross margin widened 3.05 percentage points to 43.0% of net sales, helped by USD 150 million of tariff refunds.
- GAAP operating income edged down to USD 261 million from the year-ago quarter’s USD 279 million.
