KOIL Energy buys mobile barge-based carousel for subsea umbilical handling, storage
KLNG•Mobile carousel commissioned on the U.S. Gulf Coast
Koil Energy Solutions commissioned a newly acquired mobile, barge-based subsea umbilical carousel on the U.S. Gulf Coast.
The asset was bought earlier in 2026, moved to the Gulf Coast, reassembled, then cleared system integration testing for spooling and storage work.
The first project using the mobile carousel with an existing unit is expected to finish in late September 2026.
