Kraig Biocraft Labs boosts spider silk output more than 30% during rainy season
KBLB•Production record set during rainy season
Kraig Biocraft Laboratories reported a spider silk production record, lifting output by more than 30% from its prior peak.
The increase was achieved during the rainy season, typically the most operationally difficult period for sericulture output.
Dry mulberry leaf requirements constrained usable feedstock, limiting production despite rearing capacity positioned for a larger gain.
Operations shift to rolling production model
Operations shifted to a continuous rolling production model with multiple parallel rearing sites, replacing isolated batch cycles.
Mulberry land expansion is underway, with added in-house feedstock capacity expected online in two to three months.
