Krakatau Steel sets Rp 130.74 billion fixed-asset land utilization deal with Cabot Indonesia
CBT•Krakatau Steel disclosed a deal allowing Cabot Indonesia to use about 60,000 square meters of land in Cilegon for IDR 130.74 billion in cash compensation. Proceeds are earmarked for restructuring-credit obligations and operations.
1. Land utilization deal
The deal covers about 60,000 square meters of land in Cilegon. Cabot Indonesia will use the land through a right-to-build certificate recommendation over a right-to-manage title held by Krakatau Steel subsidiary Krakatau Sarana Infrastruktur. The transaction value is IDR 130.74 billion in cash compensation, with proceeds earmarked for restructuring-credit obligations and operations. The event date was recorded as Sept. 30, 2026.
