KTOS•ARAV-B completes Pacific Dragon 2026 mission
Kratos reported a successful ARAV-B ballistic missile target mission from Hawaii’s Pacific Missile Range Facility during Pacific Dragon 2026.
The two-stage, spin-stabilized ARAV-B uses Kratos’ commercially developed Oriole rocket motor as its upper stage.
ARAV-B has logged 43 successful target missions, supporting U.S. missile defense testing and readiness assessments.
Kratos highlighted internal R&D in Oriole, the larger Zeus rocket family, and the Erinyes hypersonic testbed vehicle.
The modular target family can be reconfigured for hypersonic testing missions at speeds exceeding Mach 10.
