Kratos received an approximate $7 million contract award to produce its Counter-UAS System, designed to detect, track and classify low-profile unmanned aerial systems, cruise missiles and other aerial threats. This award builds on an existing long-term Counter-UAS production agreement aimed at accelerating deployment of defensive hardware.

All work under the contract will be performed at Kratos’s secure San Diego manufacturing facility, leveraging its large-scale production lines and rigorous quality assurance processes. Kratos emphasizes its capability to deliver military-grade hardware in high-volume production runs with consistent performance and reliability.

The contract strengthens Kratos’s C5ISR and counter-UAS portfolio, reinforcing its role as a leading provider of air defense and electronic warfare systems. It aligns with the company’s strategy of investing internally to rapidly develop and field affordable, production-ready solutions that attract prime integrator partners and government customers.
