K+S lifts annual outlook for second time this year after earnings beat
MOO•Fertilizer sector remains mixed
K+S's stronger-than-expected performance contrasts with a more mixed picture elsewhere in the fertilizer sector. While concerns over the Strait of Hormuz initially lifted fertilizer prices, peers including Yara, Nutrien and Mosaic later reported weaker sales volumes as some customers delayed purchases in response to higher prices.
Nutrien, however, said it still expects potash demand to remain strong because it is among the most affordable crop nutrients.

K+S raises full-year outlook after stronger second quarter
Aug. 12 (Reuters) - German potash and salt miner K+S SDFGn.DE raised its annual outlook for a second time this year on Wednesday after higher sales volumes and prices helped it deliver stronger-than-expected second-quarter results.
The company now expects 2026 operating EBITDA of 680 million to 760 million euros, up from a previous forecast of 630 million to 730 million euros, and raised its adjusted free cash flow guidance to a positive mid- to high-double-digit million-euro range from at least break-even.
K+S reported second-quarter revenue of 978 million euros, 6% above analyst expectations in a Vara Research poll.
Total sales volume across both divisions rose to 3.37 million tonnes from 3.05 million tonnes a year earlier, helped by higher de-icing salt sales.
