Battery supply agreement for ISS-bound robot platform
KULR won a battery supply agreement with Icarus Robotics for JOY, an autonomous free-flying robot platform planned for the International Space Station.
KULR ONE Space battery systems will power JOY’s onboard systems for autonomous navigation and operations in a human-rated environment.
The mission is targeted for early 2027 as part of JOYRIDE-1.
Production and qualification testing will be supported at KULR’s Webster, Texas facility.
