Kyndryl will support Yamaguchi Financial Group in creating an integrated platform for its three banks—Yamaguchi Bank, Momiji Bank and Kitakyushu Bank—by consolidating application programs into a single IT infrastructure. The contract leverages Kyndryl’s enterprise technology expertise to modernize mission-critical systems across the group.

2. Implementation Plan and Timeline

Under the agreement, Kyndryl Japan manages the IT infrastructure domain while IBM Japan handles the business application domain. The project began in January 2026 and is scheduled for full system launch in January 2029, with ongoing collaboration to strengthen the group’s technology foundation.
