Kyverna rises as cell therapy shows durable benefit in rare nerve disease

Kyverna said miv-cel delivered sustained benefit through one year in stiff person syndrome, a rare disease that causes severe muscle stiffness and spasms. Among patients who achieved meaningful mobility improvement, 95% maintained that benefit at one year, while 92% remained off chronic immunotherapy. The company said 67% of patients who needed walking aids before treatment no longer required assistance.
2. Other trial updates
Separate follow-up data in myasthenia gravis showed benefits lasting up to 1.5 years. Kyverna said enrollment in the late-stage trial is set to finish in mid-2027, and it remains on track to complete its rolling U.S. approval filing for miv-cel in Q4 2026.
