L3Harris secured its largest ever full-rate production contract to deliver 26 submarine communication shipsets to General Dynamics Electric Boat for Virginia- and Columbia-class submarines, with production running through 2033 and options to add more Columbia-class vessels and allied naval forces.
2. $400 Million THAAD Boosters and Controls Deal
On February 16 the company booked a $400 million award to produce additional THAAD rocket motors and liquid divert and attitude control systems, critical components for the interceptor’s boost and kill-vehicle guidance phases.
3. Backlog Expansion and Revenue Visibility
These awards lift L3Harris’s Airborne Systems backlog past $38.7 billion, extend multi-year manufacturing visibility, and enhance margins through long-term defense supply agreements with the U.S. Navy and Missile Defense Agency.
