Lantern Pharma formed Open-Medicine AI as a separate company to commercialize its multi-agent drug-discovery platform previously branded withZeta.ai.
OMAI received commercial licenses to use Lantern’s withZeta.ai models, data, algorithms, related assets, and personnel. The structure follows terms set in Lantern’s May registered direct financing, positioning OMAI for independent funding and a separate valuation track.
AI Center of Excellence planned in Bengaluru
Lantern said it set up an AI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru in Q1 2026, adding to Dallas operations to scale platform development.
