FDA approves TAUKLARIFY for Alzheimer’s tau imaging
FDA cleared TAUKLARIFY (florquinitau F 18), a tau PET imaging agent for adults with cognitive impairment being evaluated for Alzheimer’s disease.
The label limits use to identifying tau neurofibrillary tangle pathology; it is not established for evaluating non-Alzheimer’s tauopathies.
Lantheus plans to assess a path to broader commercial availability while continuing to support Alzheimer’s therapeutic programs via its Pharma Solutions unit.
