Largo names James Bannantine co-CEO as Daniel Tellechea retires
LGO•James Bannantine appointed co-CEO
Largo appointed James Bannantine as co-CEO on Aug. 6, 2026, serving alongside executive chairman and co-CEO Alberto Arias.
Bannantine previously led multiple miners, including Aura Minerals and Great Panther Mining, with operating open-pit mines in Brazil.
He also ran South American gas and power operations at an energy and commodities group, earlier serving as a U.S. Army Corps contracting officer.
Daniel Tellechea retires and remains on board
Daniel Tellechea retired as co-CEO, staying on as an adviser for a period while remaining a board member.
