Las Vegas Sands Pledges $150,000 and Accelerator Support for ACDC Hub
Las Vegas Sands has enrolled the Asian Community Development Council in its three-year Sands Cares Accelerator program, providing guidance, funding and facilitation to help establish a permanent AANHPI community hub. The company also donated $150,000 to expand ACDC’s API Language Link and youth development initiatives.
1. Sands Cares Accelerator Membership
Las Vegas Sands has named the Asian Community Development Council as the ninth member of its three-year Sands Cares Accelerator program, designed to fast-track nonprofit growth by providing strategic planning, facilitation and corporate guidance.
2. Funding and Program Support
As part of its commitment, Sands contributed $150,000 to support ACDC’s API Language Link—offering translation in 11 languages—and youth development programs including College Readiness and Trade School boot camps.
3. ACDC’s Community Hub Vision
ACDC intends to use Accelerator resources to establish a permanent cultural and resource hub for the AANHPI community, aiming to enhance service access, foster connections and empower members through health, education and civic engagement initiatives.
