At the 2026 Annual Meeting, Laureate Education elected Julian Coulter as an independent director. Coulter is Global Managing Director, Food, Beverage & Restaurants at Google and held leadership roles at Sony, SABMiller and Delosi, bringing marketing, digital expertise and operational experience; he holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College Dublin and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Kenneth W. Freeman and Dr. Judith Rodin did not stand for re-election, creating two vacancies on the board. Following the meeting, the nine-member board comprises eight independent directors, ensuring a diverse mix of skills and expertise to strengthen governance and oversight.
