NEW YORK, July 23 (Reuters) - Lazard has cut more than 80 managing director roles, or roughly 40% of its total pool, CEO Peter Orszag told reporters on a post-earnings call.
He added that the investment bank has been hiring and promoting bankers simultaneously, particularly focused on healthcare, technology and defense sectors.
