LB Pharmaceuticals presented new preclinical findings on LB-102’s mechanism at the 39th ECNP Congress on Oct. 10, 2026. The data indicated LB-102 may boost dopamine signaling, supporting a potential path to ease anhedonia and low motivation in mood disorders. The company also outlined ongoing studies: Phase 3 NOVA-2 in schizophrenia, the NOVA-3 extension and Phase 2 ILLUMINATE-1 in bipolar depression.
2. NOVA-1 analyses
An encore poster at the meeting presented previously reported Phase 2 NOVA-1 analyses suggesting cognitive gains were largely a direct drug effect.
