Lee Enterprises replaces BDO with Grant Thornton as auditor after 2026 audit completion

Lee Enterprises will dismiss BDO as auditor once its fiscal 2026 audit is completed and the annual report is filed.
Grant Thornton was named successor auditor for fiscal 2027, effective following completion of the fiscal 2026 audit.
BDO’s prior audit reports for fiscal 2025 and fiscal 2024 carried no adverse opinion, disclaimer, or qualification.
No accounting or audit disputes were reported; a material internal-control weakness tied to certain revenue transactions was remediated in fiscal 2024.
