Legend Biotech names Alan Bash interim CEO after Ying Huang resigns

Alan Bash appointed interim CEO

Alan Bash was named interim CEO, effective July 24, 2026. He has led CARVYKTI as president since October 2024.

Bash previously served as CEO of ZielBio, led Checkmate Pharmaceuticals, and spent 1999-2022 at Bristol Myers Squibb.

Legend launched a search for a permanent CEO.

CEO transition at Legend Biotech

Legend Biotech CEO Ying Huang resigned as CEO and stepped down from the board, effective July 24, 2026.

Huang plans to stay on as an adviser through August to support the transition; the departure was not tied to disputes.
