LDOS•Leidos selected X-Bow Systems to develop and produce booster rocket motors for the U.S. Army’s Low-Cost Containerized Munition program, with full-rate production planned for 2027.
1. Motor development and production
X-Bow Systems will develop and produce booster rocket motors for the U.S. Army’s Low-Cost Containerized Munition program. It will complete design, qualification testing and static fires ahead of planned full-rate production at scale in 2027. The program supports large-quantity production of low-cost cruise missiles under the Defense Department’s “Arsenal of Freedom” initiative.
