LFS•Leifras will acquire Swift Japan’s equity for approximately JPY454.6 million, closing on July 1, 2026, to extend its customer reach from infancy. The deal adds Swift Japan’s licensed nurseries in Nagoya operating near 100% capacity and integrates Leifras’ non-cognitive sports methodology into a recurring revenue base.
1. Transaction Details
On June 23, 2026, Leifras entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of Swift Japan Co., Ltd. for JPY454.6 million. The acquisition is expected to close on July 1, 2026, and will extend Leifras’ services to children from infancy through school age.
2. Strategic Rationale
The acquisition addresses growing demand for continuous childcare and after-school support in Japan and builds an ecosystem linking preschool and sports education. Leveraging Swift Japan’s local reputation and near-full capacity licensed nurseries, Leifras aims to secure a subsidy-backed recurring revenue stream.
3. Integration Plans
Leifras will retain existing facility directors and nursery teachers, preserving employment terms and community ties. It will integrate its proprietary non-cognitive sports skill development program as an extracurricular service to enhance nursery quality and customer satisfaction.
4. Future Outlook
Leifras plans to deepen partnerships with local governments and businesses under its "To Change and Design Sports" philosophy. The company expects the seamless integration of Swift Japan to drive long-term growth and shareholder value.
