Leifras management says six-month net income rises 43.5% on higher sports school fees, new customer services
LFS•Leifras reported six-month revenue of JPY 5.98 billion, up 8.9%, and net income of JPY 77.08 million, up 43.5%, for the period ended June 30, 2026.
1. Revenue and income rise
Revenue increased 8.9% to JPY 5.98 billion and net income rose 43.5% to JPY 77.08 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, with revenue growth outpacing cost of revenue. Sports school revenue rose 5.4% to JPY 4.15 billion on higher membership fee rates despite a 0.9% decline in members; social business revenue climbed 18% to JPY 1.83 billion as contracted schools and club activities increased.
2. Costs also increased
Selling, general and administrative expenses rose 21.9% to JPY 1.67 billion, driven by a promotion reclassification, acquisition-related outside services and higher IPO-linked taxes.
