LEVI•Levi Strauss shares fell 4.3% ahead of quarterly results due after the market close, with investors watching for progress in premium denim. Analysts expect fiscal third-quarter revenue growth of about 5% to $1.62 billion and adjusted earnings of $0.36 per share, versus $0.34 a year earlier.
1. Results expectations
Levi Strauss shares fell 4.3% to $19.65 on Wednesday ahead of quarterly results due after the bell. LSEG data showed analysts expected fiscal third-quarter revenue of about $1.62 billion, up roughly 5% year over year, and adjusted earnings per share of $0.36, compared with $0.34 a year earlier.
2. Premium denim focus
Investors are watching for progress in the company's push into premium denim amid cautious consumer spending. Last quarter, Levi Strauss raised its annual sales forecast, betting premium denim would appeal to higher-income shoppers, but its profit outlook disappointed some investors. Jefferies expected a “solid” third-quarter report with healthy denim demand.
3. CFO appointment
Levi Strauss announced on September 30 that John Vandemore would become chief financial officer effective November 1, 2026. Vandemore joined from Skechers, where he had served as finance chief for nine years and led the company's global financial organization.
