Lexicon completes enrollment in Phase 3 SONATA-HCM trial of sotagliflozin in symptomatic hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

Lexicon Pharmaceuticals completed patient randomization in the Phase 3 SONATA-HCM trial of sotagliflozin in symptomatic hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

The study exceeded its 500-patient enrollment target across more than 130 sites in 20 countries, supporting a broad readout across obstructive and non-obstructive disease.

Topline results have not been presented; the first results are expected in Q1 2027.

The trial is designed to show whether sotagliflozin improves patient symptoms and daily function versus placebo, with safety assessed in parallel.
