Joint venture planned for West Texas data center campus
Liberty Energy formed a strategic joint venture with PowerBridge to develop powered data center campuses, starting with a planned 2 GW site in West Texas.
Initial phase targets more than 300 MW of generation capacity, with first power delivery expected in Q4 2027.
Power deployment is expected to continue through the first half of 2028, with potential additional phases over time.
Liberty’s Liberty Power Innovations unit will design and operate modular generation, power-quality management, and grid optimization for the campus.
The transaction remains subject to additional commercial agreements, ancillary documentation, and required regulatory approvals.
