Liberty Global Q2 FY26 net loss narrows to $357.8 million; revenue falls 7.7% to $1.17 billion vs Q2 FY25
Second-quarter results
Liberty Global posted a Q2 net loss of $357.8 million, narrowing from a $2.77 billion loss a year earlier.
Revenue fell 7.7% year over year to $1.17 billion, while adjusted EBITDA slipped 3.1% to $324.9 million.
Management update and Ziggo plans
CEO Mike Fries said the group is targeting a planned Ziggo Group spin-off as early as mid-2027, with management named in June.
VodafoneZiggo acquisition and cash target
In the Netherlands, Liberty Global expects to close the acquisition of Vodafone’s 50% stake in VodafoneZiggo by end-July after securing approvals.
Year-to-date asset monetizations reached about $1.2 billion, lifting the year-end corporate cash target to about $2 billion from about $1.5 billion.
