Life Time welcomed a record 4,500 runners to its sold-out 16th annual 305 Half Marathon & 5K in Miami. The race introduced a Vic Garcia–designed finisher medal ribbon and underscores Life Time’s plan to expand Florida country clubs from six to nine by 2027.

1. Event Highlights

Life Time hosted its largest-ever 305 Half Marathon & 5K in Miami, attracting 4,500 participants representing 37 states and 36 countries. Local runners Caroline Lefrak (1:23:00) and Alexander Beach (1:12:38) earned top honors in the half marathon. Participants enjoyed sunrise course views, local Cafecito bites and a Finish Festival featuring dueling DJs, cold plunges, games and a beer garden.

2. Medal Design and Merchandise

For the first time, the event showcased a finisher medal ribbon designed by Miami artist Vic Garcia and featured a limited-edition line of official 305 merchandise in collaboration with the artist. These additions enhance the participant experience and create new branded revenue opportunities through event merchandise sales.

3. Florida Expansion Strategy

Life Time operates six athletic country club destinations in Florida and has announced plans for three additional locations in Orlando, Sarasota and Jacksonville by 2027. These clubs will serve as year-round hubs for training, coaching and recovery, supporting the company’s broader portfolio of nearly 30 athletic events and driving membership growth in a key region.
