Life Time Expands Pilates to 12–14 New Clubs, CTR Class Waitlist Skyrockets

LTHLTH

Life Time reported significant private Pilates participation growth in 2025 and launched its CTR athletic reformer class, which became the most waitlisted offering in company history. The firm plans to include Pilates studios in each of its 12–14 new 2026 locations and expand CTR to over 60 clubs by year-end.

1. Surge in Pilates Participation

Life Time saw significant year-over-year increases in private Pilates sessions in 2025 as members embraced low-impact, high-results strength training focused on mobility, posture and longevity. Pilates remains foundational at over 175 clubs, underlining its role in sustaining membership engagement and ancillary revenue streams.

2. Breakout CTR Reformer Class

The CTR athletic reformer class, a 45-minute performance-driven workout, has become the most waitlisted offering in company history, reflecting robust demand for innovative strength and mobility programming. Life Time plans to roll out CTR at more than 60 locations by December, aiming to convert trial participants into regular members.

3. 2026 Expansion Roadmap

In 2026, all 12–14 new Life Time clubs under development will feature dedicated Pilates studios, reinforcing the company’s two-decade investment in reformer-based workouts. This expansion supports capital deployment in high-demand amenities designed to drive incremental membership sales and per-member spending.

4. Integrated Health Ecosystem

Pilates is integrated into a comprehensive healthy living ecosystem that includes dynamic personal training, nutrition coaching, recovery spaces, signature group classes and the L•AI•C app. This multi-channel approach deepens member engagement and diversifies revenue through supplements, equipment and apparel sales.
