LFMD•LifeMD has appointed technology executive Umesh Sripad as Chief Technology Officer effective immediately, granting him 150,000 restricted stock units tied to service and performance vesting over three years. Sripad’s two decades of digital transformation leadership will steer LifeMD’s AI enablement, platform scalability, and cybersecurity as it serves nearly 350,000 patients.
1. Appointment Details
LifeMD has appointed Umesh Sripad as Chief Technology Officer effective June 1, 2026. Sripad joins with over 20 years of leadership roles at PetMeds, PureRED, Bed Bath & Beyond, and IKEA USA, where he drove digital business growth and platform modernization.
2. Incentive Structure
As an employment inducement, LifeMD is granting Sripad 150,000 restricted stock units, half vesting annually over three years based on service milestones and half tied to company performance targets. This structure aligns his incentives with LifeMD’s expansion goals and operational benchmarks.
3. Technology Roadmap
In his new role, Sripad will oversee AI enablement, cybersecurity enhancements, data infrastructure upgrades, and enterprise scalability initiatives. His mandate includes supporting LifeMD’s growth from 350,000 patients toward a multi-million user platform and strengthening digital care services.
