Lilly says Foundayo 17.2 mg outperforms oral semaglutide 25 mg on weight loss, A1C in indirect comparison study
LLY•Eli Lilly disclosed an indirect comparison suggesting Foundayo 17.2 mg outperformed oral semaglutide 25 mg on weight loss and blood-sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes. Results were presented at a diabetes meeting in Milan; oral semaglutide 25 mg remains unapproved in the U.S.

The analysis compared Foundayo 17.2 mg with oral semaglutide 25 mg on weight loss and A1C outcomes in type 2 diabetes. It extends the 52-week ACHIEVE-3 trial, which previously showed Foundayo beat a lower dose of oral semaglutide on the same outcomes.
