Lilly says retatrutide meets endpoints in two Phase 3 obesity trials, plans FDA filing in Q1 2027

Eli Lilly reported positive topline results from two Phase 3 trials of retatrutide, supporting planned global filings for an obesity indication.
- TRIUMPH-2 showed up to 20.8% average weight loss at 80 weeks in adults with obesity or overweight with type 2 diabetes; A1C fell up to 1.6%.
- TRIUMPH-3 showed up to 22.6% average weight loss at 80 weeks in adults with severe obesity with established cardiovascular disease.
- FDA submission is planned as a Biologics License Application in Q1 2027.
