Limbach Holdings acquired Wisconsin-based union MEP contractor 1901 for $63 million, funded with cash and revolver borrowings.
The deal includes earn-outs of up to $6 million, payable over two years if performance targets are met.
Acquisition expands Midwest scale and capabilities
The acquisition expands Limbach’s Midwest scale, creates Limbach’s largest electrical operation, and adds mechanical, plumbing and controls capabilities.
1901 adds about 450 employees, including more than 350 field professionals, and strengthens exposure to healthcare, higher education and industrial markets.
2027 contribution expected
For 2027, 1901 is expected to contribute about $140 million of revenue and $11 million of adjusted EBITDA.
