Lincoln Financial EPS Beats Estimates at $1.66, Expands API Integration with Centro
Lincoln Financial reported Q1 EPS of $1.66, topping $1.63 consensus by 2% and up from $1.60 a year earlier. It also broadened its API partnership with Centro to integrate RFP submissions, cutting manual entry and enhancing broker-carrier connectivity following last year’s policy API rollout.
1. Q1 Earnings Surpass Estimates
In Q1, Lincoln Financial posted EPS of $1.66, beating the $1.63 consensus and rising from $1.60 a year earlier. The 4% year-over-year increase reflects steady investment income and premium growth across its insurance and retirement businesses.
2. Expanded API Integration with Centro
Lincoln broadened its API partnership with Centro by adding RFP connectivity to its broker-carrier platform. The new integration routes RFP data directly from the Centro portal into Lincoln systems, reducing manual entry, speeding turnaround times, and improving quoting accuracy.
