Lipocine surges after Canada approves its testosterone replacement therapy

Lipocine said Health Canada approved Tlando, its oral testosterone replacement therapy for male hypogonadism. The company licensed Tlando’s U.S. and Canadian commercial rights to privately held Verity Pharma in January 2024.
2. Potential payments
Lipocine is eligible for up to $259 million in milestone payments, plus royalties of 12% to 18% on Tlando net sales. The company said more than 700,000 testosterone replacement therapy prescriptions are written annually in Canada, and about 50% of the patient population has private insurance.
