LiqTech Secures Four-System Order for EGR Vessels in China, Delivery in Q4 2026
LIQT•LiqTech International has won a commercial order for four marine water treatment systems for EGR-equipped vessels in China, with first delivery set for Q4 2026. It follows six months of iCER engine system orders and underscores uptake of LiqTech’s silicon carbide membranes in next-gen vessel water treatment.
1. New EGR Vessel Order
LiqTech International has secured a commercial order for four of its marine water treatment systems for commercial vessels utilizing Exhaust Gas Recirculation engine technology in China. The first system is slated for delivery in Q4 2026, marking LiqTech’s entry into EGR-based marine water treatment solutions.
2. Expansion Beyond iCER Technology
This award follows six months of joint venture orders and completed deliveries for vessels using iCER engine technology, demonstrating LiqTech’s ability to serve multiple next-generation marine platforms. The contract validates the versatility of its silicon carbide membrane-based filtration across diverse emissions-reduction engine systems.
3. Marine Market Positioning
Building on experience from more than 170 marine scrubber installations worldwide, LiqTech is leveraging its ultrafiltration expertise to target dual-fuel and emissions-reduction commercial vessels.
