Lithium Americas returns to Q2 profit at US$1.7 million; cash and restricted cash rises to US$1.28 billion as of June 30, 2026

- Thacker Pass Phase 1 capitalized US$507.9 million in Q2; total capitalized project costs reached US$1.8 billion, including US$1.6 billion in the US$2.93 billion estimate.
- Construction remained on track for late-2027 mechanical completion, with energization targeted for Q4 2026 and more than 1,600 workers on site.
- Management flagged US$80 million to US$100 million of tariff exposure, with a definitive capital estimate targeted by end-Q3 2026.
