LIVE MARKETS-STOXX at record high on tech, industrials strength

European shares hovered near record highs on Tuesday as gains in technology .SX8P, materials .SXPP and industrials .SXNP briefly pushed the STOXX 600 above last week's peak, even as uncertainty over a resolution to the US-Iran conflict fuelled a rebound in oil prices.

The pan-European index .STOXX was last up 0.6%, bringing year-to-date gains close to 11%, with the advance tempered by weakness in travel and leisure .SXTP as higher energy prices and disappointing results from Lufthansa LHAG.DE weighed on the sector. The airline was last down 9%.

Corporate earnings drove the biggest single-stock moves. Zalando ZALG.DE was a standout faller, down as much as 18% after the online fashion retailer narrowed its profit outlook.
