1. Trial results
Updated ELPIS II results showed laromestrocel significantly reduced major adverse cardiac events in infants with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. The trial previously failed its primary goal of improving right ventricular pumping function at 12 months, and no treatment-related serious adverse events were identified through 12 months. Longeveron plans to request an FDA meeting to review the results and potential next steps; it will present the findings at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions in Chicago on November 8, 2026.
