Louisiana has awarded Motorola Solutions a USD 139 million, 10-year contract for statewide public safety technology and network upgrades.
The scope includes body cameras, in-car video, mobile video integration, digital evidence management, command center software, and radio network enhancements.
The deal extends maintenance and upgrade support for the Louisiana Wireless Information Network for 10 years, covering more than 109,000 users.
The contract supports a shift from multiple vendors to a single platform across six state agencies operating in 64 parishes.
