Lowe's Opens Community Grant Program with $100M, 100 Grants and 2,000 Projects
Lowe's Community Impact program is inviting communities to submit project nominations through March 20 for renovations of nonprofit, municipal and community spaces. The company will fund up to 100 large-scale renovation grants and complete more than 2,000 associate-led improvement projects as part of its five-year, $100 million revitalization commitment.
1. Program Launch and Nomination Details
Lowe's has invited community groups, nonprofits, schools and municipalities to submit renovation project ideas through March 20 to improve shelters, food pantries, veteran services, first responder facilities and other public spaces.
2. Grant and Project Commitments
Under the five-year, $100 million Community Impact commitment, Lowe's will fund up to 100 large-scale renovation grants and complete over 2,000 additional associate-led improvement projects nationwide.
3. Community Bucket List Tour
The Lowe's Community Bucket List Tour will showcase oversized blue buckets in ten cities including Dallas, Philadelphia, San Diego and Phoenix to inspire local nominations and share program details.
4. Past Impact Examples
Previous associate-led initiatives have delivered over 10 million square feet of improvements, such as mobile shower facilities for unhoused neighbors in Charlotte and veterans' transitional housing repairs in Kansas City.
