1. LPL Financial Reaches Industry-Leading CFP® Milestone
On January 27, 2026, LPL Financial announced that 6,200 of its affiliated financial advisors have earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation as of December 31, 2025—more than any other firm in the U.S. This brings the firm’s total advisor headcount to over 32,000, supporting approximately $2.3 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets. LPL credits this achievement to targeted investments in integrated planning technology, paraplanning and high-net-worth services, and robust practice management support, all designed to enhance efficiency and deepen client relationships through planning-first advice.
2. Moto Wealth Partners Launches on LPL’s Linsco Platform
Wealth advisors Breanne Bovara, CPWA®, and Derrick Petry, CFA®, have joined Linsco by LPL Financial to establish Moto Wealth Partners, bringing roughly $2 billion in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets from their prior firm at Fifth Third Private Bank. Based in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, the team will serve high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families nationwide, combining nearly 40 years of collective industry experience. LPL’s scale, integrated planning tools and fiduciary-aligned platform were cited as critical factors in their decision to transition, enabling them to focus on dynamic wealth planning, tax strategies and estate structuring.
3. Main Management ETF Advisors Joins LPL’s No Transaction Fee Program
Main Management ETF Advisors has added four of its ETFs—BUYW, SECT, TMAT and INTL—to LPL Financial’s ETF No Transaction Fee (NTF) Sponsorship Program. This expansion gives LPL’s network of more than 32,000 advisors and their approximately 8 million clients commission-free access to sector, thematic and international equity strategies managed by Main Management. By broadening its NTF lineup, LPL continues to bolster its wealth management platform with cost-effective investment solutions aimed at enhancing portfolio construction and client retention.
