LS Power acquires 606-MW Brazos Valley gas plant from Constellation
CEG•LS Power completed its acquisition of the 606-megawatt Brazos Valley Energy Center from Constellation. The natural gas-fired plant outside Houston expands LS Power’s generation capacity in ERCOT.

LS Power completed its acquisition of the Brazos Valley Energy Center from Constellation. The 606-megawatt natural gas-fired combined-cycle plant outside Houston expands the buyer’s generation capacity in ERCOT and adds to its approximately 10-gigawatt U.S. fleet of more than 125 natural gas-fired and renewable generation facilities.
