The Tampa site is positioned to support future cloud and AI workloads tied to the Yankees’ technology and broadcasting needs.
Dual fiber routes and automatic failover planned
Connectivity will use two independent 100-gigabit fiber routes between New York and Tampa, with automatic failover to target continuous operations.
Lumen to support Yankees network across stadium and Tampa facilities
Lumen will run the Yankees’ network across Yankee Stadium and Tampa facilities, carrying security, game video, operations data, and fan internet traffic.
The Yankees will shift primary data-center operations from Yankee Stadium to a new Tampa site built to withstand 200 mph sustained winds.
