LXP Industrial Trust shareholders approve acquisition by Brookfield and CPP Investments
BAM•LXP Industrial Trust shareholders approved its acquisition by Brookfield Asset Management and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board on Oct. 26, 2026. More than 99% of votes cast supported the merger, and common shareholders will receive $61.2 per share; closing is expected Nov. 2, subject to closing conditions.

More than 99% of votes cast supported the acquisition, with approximately 82% of outstanding common shares represented. Under the agreement announced July 20, 2026, common shareholders will receive $61.2 in cash for each common share.
2. Closing expected Nov. 2
The transaction is expected to close Nov. 2, subject to satisfaction or waiver of closing conditions. Upon closing, LXP shares will no longer be listed on the New York Stock Exchange or any other public market.
