Lyft expanded its partnership with taxi platform Curb to New York City, enabling eligible riders to be matched with licensed taxis in-app.
The integration uses Curb Flow, Curb’s API that aggregates ride demand, marking Lyft’s largest deployment of the integration.
The launch extends an earlier rollout in Los Angeles and San Francisco, opening a new earnings channel for New York City taxi drivers.
Taxi matching will apply to Standard, Priority Pickup, or Wait & Save requests, with an opt-out setting for riders.
