LyondellBasell’s Q2 2026 EBITDA rose to USD 1.25 billion from USD 568 million in Q1 on tighter industry supply tied to the Middle East conflict.
- O&P-Americas EBITDA jumped to USD 1.18 billion from USD 327 million as prices lifted margins; ethylene crackers ran at about 95% capacity.
- O&P-EAI posted EBITDA of negative USD 432 million due to a USD 734 million loss on disposed European assets; EBITDA excluding items improved to USD 331 million.
- Intermediates & Derivatives EBITDA increased to USD 377 million from USD 224 million on higher margins in intermediate chemicals, oxyfuels, related products.
- Technology EBITDA rose to USD 73 million from USD 18 million on stronger catalyst demand, improved licensing as more higher-value contracts hit milestones.
