LyondellBasell reports higher Q2 FY26 profit and revenue
LyondellBasell posted Q2 2026 net income of USD 559 million, or USD 1.71 per diluted share; sales and other operating revenues rose to USD 9.18 billion.
EBITDA climbed to USD 1.25 billion from USD 568 million in Q1; net income rose from USD 125 million.
Results included USD 842 million of identified items net of tax, mainly a USD 734 million pre-tax loss on divestiture of select European assets.
Cash from operating activities totaled USD 752 million; capital expenditures were USD 270 million, dividends were USD 224 million, and cash and cash equivalents ended at USD 2.63 billion.
CEO Peter Vanacker cited improved market conditions and commercial actions; outlook calls for Q3 operating rates of 85% in North American O&P, 70% in European O&P, and 85% in I&D.
