M2i Global backs Trump administration push to boost US critical minerals supply chain
MTWO•M2i Global supports recent US critical minerals actions
M2i Global backed recent US actions to tighten control of critical minerals supply chains, citing new investment and procurement restrictions.
White House commitments cited included over $2 billion for mining projects, $180 million for workforce, and nearly $40 billion in minerals deals.
A BIS rule would require US persons selling black mass or tungsten waste to allocate 100% of monthly sales to US buyers from Aug. 27. The restriction would run through Aug. 27, 2027, with case-by-case exceptions; public comments are open until Nov. 4.
M2i said it is not a recipient of the Aug. 7 awards.
