MGA•Magna International reported third-quarter net income of $383 million, up from $305 million a year earlier, while adjusted EBIT rose 11% to $683 million. Sales fell 4% to $10.06 billion, and adjusted earnings per share increased 38% to $1.83.
1. Earnings and sales
Magna International's third-quarter 2026 net income attributable to shareholders rose to $383 million from $305 million. Sales declined 4% to $10.06 billion, reflecting lower vehicle production, program endings and business divestitures; new launches partly offset the declines.
2. Adjusted results
Adjusted EBIT increased 11% to $683 million, which management attributed to favorable commercial items, efficiency improvements and tariff recoveries. Adjusted EBIT margin widened to 6.8% from 5.9%, while adjusted earnings per share rose 38% to $1.83, supported by higher adjusted EBIT, share repurchases and lower interest and taxes.
